Very Sick Beats for SampleWiz 2

What it does

A sample pack for BLEASS SampleWiz 2, bought as an in-app purchase inside the app, and the percussive one of the set. It holds bongos, snares, claps, kicks, guitar hits, vinyl crackle, a keychain, scissors and a drum kit laid across the keys. Each patch is one sample played chromatically, so moving up the keyboard retunes the hit rather than switching to a different drum, and SampleWiz 2’s grain, turbulence, filter and motion controls all still apply.

In the demo

Jade throws a quick beat together with it in AUM, then plays the patches dry before stretching a held percussion hit out with grains and turbulence. She points out that middle C gives the sample as recorded on each preset, works up and down from there, and drops BLEASS Reverb over some of them.

Worth knowing

SampleWiz 2 is a separate purchase. This is raw percussion for mangling and pitching, not a kit with pattern playback, so sequencing means a drum machine or a DAW alongside.
