What it does

Two reverbs in one plugin. The spring side is GSi’s Type 4 emulation, taken from an Accutronics tank like those in Hammond A100 organs and guitar amplifiers, with decay, damping, spring tension, timbre, dispersion and stereo width, plus a panel you tap to hear the springs crash. The digital side is algorithmic, with room sizes, early reflections and diffusion. Each has its own high pass, low pass and level, and a routing switch runs the pair in parallel or sends either one through the other.

In the demo

Jade pulls the dry signal out so each reverb is audible alone, works the spring decay up into the feedback zone, then flips the routing both ways on piano, acoustic guitar, a microphone and drums.

Worth knowing

Presets are grouped into spring, digital and combined sets, and the manual sits inside the app. Jade’s iPad throws repeated bad signal errors in AUM here, which she puts down to her hardware.
