What it does
A delay and reverb effect built around a single XY pad. Any parameter can be assigned to the X axis, the Y axis, both, or locked to a fixed value, so one gesture moves several controls at once. Four delay modes cover digital, analog, ping-pong and reverse, with time in milliseconds or synced to host tempo including dotted and triplet divisions. A separate reverb path offers spring, plate and hall.
In the demo
Jade runs it in AUM on a nylon guitar from Halion Sonic Play, moving the pad while the dials follow underneath. She works through the presets, the tempo lock, Lift, Freeze and the 30 second motion recorder, then puts the reverse mode on a drum loop.
Worth knowing
This is built for playing the effect live rather than dialling in one fixed sound. Anyone wanting a set-and-forget delay on a mix bus will be doing more gesturing than the job requires.
