What it does
A collection of 17 spring reverb emulations, from six-spring studio tanks to single-spring battery units, plus guitar amp springs and a tape echo tank. Each is a convolution model whose impulse response can be opened and reshaped in the app, changing pitch, start and end points, fades and curve while audio is playing. Around it sit an input stage with drive and low and high pass filters, decay, pre-delay, stereo width, transient emphasis, switchable hiss with an envelope mode, and a Baxandall EQ with a soft clipper.
In the demo
Jade plays a live take with a different spring on each track, then solos drums and steps through every model, pitching impulse responses down into drones and pushing the drive and clipper into dirt.
Worth knowing
The hiss and hum are part of the emulation and stay unless dialled down. It is a direct port of the desktop plugin, priced well below it.
