What it does
A spring tank emulation with more control than a physical tank allows. Verb mix and decay sit beside the number of springs and their tension, a dampening pair that works as a small EQ, a small to large tank, a resonance control for extra metal, and a tremolo and modulation section switchable pre or post the reverb. Decay and tremolo speed both toggle between absolute values and note values locked to host tempo. The ribbon along the bottom morphs any group of knobs between two positions in a single sweep, which suits live playing. Artist preset banks sit beside the Eventide factory set.
In the demo
Jade opens on electric bass, explains what a physical spring tank is and why tension changes the sound, then moves through acoustic guitar, a blues mix and a live vocal. She closes on a drum kit split across eight tracks so each piece gets its own spring setting.
Worth knowing
The character is metallic and springy by design. Jade separates it from the big spaces of Blackhole and the rising tails of ShimmerVerb, so it is a specific colour rather than a general reverb.
