What it does
A reverb modelled on early digital hardware, where limited CPU and RAM left the tails slightly grainy. Controls cover decay, pre-delay, a low-pass filter, a spread that runs from mono to wide stereo, and mix. The freeze button holds whatever is in the tail indefinitely, so a chord can be turned into a sustained drone that keeps going after the source stops.
In the demo
Jade sets it on a guitar chord part, freezes a tail and stops transport so only the drone is left, then feeds that drone into Skulptur to reshape it into something unrelated. She then returns to the default patch and takes the filter, spread, decay and pre-delay one at a time before running the presets on piano.
Worth knowing
The panel is plain knobs with no visual display, and the grain is part of the sound rather than something to dial out. Anyone after a clean modern hall will not find one here.
