What it does

A spectral processor that pulls sinewave components out of an incoming signal and rebuilds them as new material. Four sections cover harmonic, inharmonic, 12-EDO and free tunings, each with draggable handles that set a frequency region and can be stretched into an arpeggiator-style readout. Delay lines with feedback, a freeze control, reverb, smoothing, frequency shifters and dry-wet mixing sit around it, and gesture recording animates most of them.

In the demo

Jade runs a piano, guitar and string project through it and works out the controls on air, describing this as a learning-with-you episode. She records gesture automation on several parameter groups, then builds and swaps scenes to switch between saved states.

Worth knowing

It is very heavy on DSP, and her processor meter maxes out with only a few apps running, so multiple instances are unlikely. The output is bells, shimmer and glitch rather than anything resembling the source, so it suits sound design more than mixing.
