Space Strip

What it does

A strip of six space and character modules, Contour, Vibe, Slapback, Ambience, Ensemble and Stereo, that drag into any order and each switch off independently. Contour lifts bass and top, Vibe is a tremolo with spread, Slapback runs to 300 ms, Ambience is a small room with damping, Ensemble a chorus, and Stereo centres bass below a chosen frequency while widening the sides. A soft clipper, correlation meter and DSP readout sit around them.

In the demo

Jade runs each module one at a time on a clean acoustic guitar sample, then on drums, a spoken vocal and generative piano in AUM. She finishes in Logic, on a stereo out and then as a bus send.

Worth knowing

Everything here is deliberately subtle and light on CPU, made for adding depth across many tracks, so anyone after dramatic reverb or a hard-pushed chorus will find the ranges short. The desktop version is a separate purchase from audiothing.net.
