What it does
A free effect that reproduces the sound of a compact disc misreading: skips, stuck repeats, dropouts and a freeze, with feedback that adds comb filtering to the held fragments. A single pad drives it, so dragging across the surface sets how badly the signal breaks up, and an auto mode runs the skipping without a finger on the screen. It ships as an AUv3 and as a standalone app.
In the demo
Jade puts it on a 12-string guitar part and drags the pad to break the playback apart, then adds dropouts and the freeze on top, and later layers it with BeatCutter mangling the same material.
Worth knowing
This is a destructive glitch box, not a subtle one, so it suits a deliberate broken-media effect rather than general polish.
