What it does
A convolution reverb built from impulse responses producer Kristian Kohle recorded inside a derelict swimming pool and its changing rooms. Two spaces sit side by side, each with its own level, and the tail is short and dense rather than long. Raw and smoky voicings, near and far mics, decay, pre-delay, filters and a rot distortion with two characters shape it.
In the demo
Jade runs it on a vocal bus of layered growls in Logic, then pulls it apart so the two spaces are heard on their own. She moves to a snare in GarageBand, where it adds weight and low end, and finishes on clean vocals, bass and guitar.
Worth knowing
The tail is short, so this fills and dirties a sound rather than putting it in a hall. In the demo the preset menu will not open, so presets step through with arrows. A desktop version is sold separately by Aurora DSP.
