What it does
A convolution reverb built from impulse responses recorded across Sweden over two years, grouped into categories such as historic halls, ruins, wooden rooms and odd spaces, twelve locations each and well over a hundred captures in total. Each space carries its own set of mic distances and microphone models, so a cathedral offers several positions while an airplane cockpit offers one. Controls are few: a two-node EQ with Q, width down to mono and out to reverse phase, decay, pre-delay, gain and a lockable mix.
In the demo
Jade runs a vocal take through one category at a time, switching mics and placements to hear the difference, then moves to piano, choir and drums across barns, mines, a swimming pool and a sauna.
Worth knowing
It is iPad only, and the browsing is visual and photo-led, which is slower than a plain list when you know what you want. A desktop version is sold separately.
