What it does
A buffer glitch processor driven by a step grid. You pick which steps fire, the slice length, the repeats and the trigger chance, and every hit runs through four effects that fire by percentage: a stutter, a stereo delay, a reduct bit and sample rate crusher, and a ring modulator. Each has its own page, and a slice section adds an auto panner, envelopes and filters. Divisions run from 16 steps down to three, and scatter spreads reversals out.
In the demo
Jade puts it on drums in GarageBand, then in AUM takes each control in turn against a Pure Acid beat. She hangs an external LFO on delay time, stutter pitch and a filter, then ends with a separate instance on each part of a kit.
Worth knowing
Mix, duck and send modes decide how much dry signal survives, so it works as an insert or a send. Audio Damage sells a desktop version separately.
