What it does
A compact lo-fi texture effect for iPhone, iPad and Mac, standalone and AUv3. A Crusher reduces bit depth, a Reducer degrades sample rate and Drive adds harmonics, with Refine to smooth the result, bass and treble, a dry/wet mix, stereo in and out levels and a limiter. It ships with 35 factory presets in conversion, texture, utility and experimental sections, saves user presets and supports MIDI Learn.
In the demo
Jade runs one instance on every channel of an AUM project, then solos a Pianoteq piano to show each dial from an init patch. She loads bass, drum and utility presets, adds a subtle crush to a guitar and switches it in and out on a vocal to show how it pushes the voice forward.
Worth knowing
The window does not resize cleanly on iPad and the knobs only respond to a circular drag, which Jade found awkward with a finger.
