What it does
A pulse and distortion processor. One side is a tremolo style pulsation with rate, depth, three waveshapes and optional tempo sync. The other is a tube saturator feeding a rip control that goes into hard distortion. A sit dial trims low and high content to move the processed sound forward or back in a mix, and a controller panel lets an external audio source sidechain the pulse, the depth or the rip with its own attack, threshold, mix and release.
In the demo
Jade sets it on strings in AUM, then routes a muted drum kit into the sidechain so the beat gates the pulse and distortion. She also drives it from two slow LFOs over MIDI CC, runs it on guitar in GarageBand as a tremolo, and puts it on a live vocal.
Worth knowing
The rip stage gets loud fast, and Jade keeps a limiter after it throughout. On guitar it colours rather than amps, so it wants a cabinet or IR after it.
