plateVerb

What it does

A plate reverb with fourteen plate modes, sharing the control set OSC Audio uses across this family: pre-delay, decay, damping, width and mix, a three-band EQ on the reverb, low and high pass filters, ducking, panning, separate left and right repeat speed and decay, and a mono switch. Presets are supplied twice over, once voiced for a send and once for an insert. This update brought a redesigned interface and new icons along with changes under the hood.

In the demo

Jade takes this one second, after spaceVerb, loading it onto a drum computer kit and stepping through the plate modes and presets so the differences between plates are audible on transients rather than on pads.

Worth knowing

Plates suit drums and vocals more than long ambient tails, and there is no modulation stage here. It is also sold with spaceVerb and springVerb in a bundle, and on desktop through the OSC Audio Gumroad store.
