What it does
A delay with six selectable engines: clean stereo, reverse, dual tape, multi-tap, variable-speed multi-head and granular. Two independent delay times can run synced or free, with saturation, low and high cut, spread, crossfade, regeneration and panning per engine. Two LFOs and an envelope follower are assigned by holding a modulator and tapping the target control. Preset banks come from Audio Damage plus outside designers.
In the demo
An app rewind of a 2021 release. Jade runs a nylon guitar through the reverse engine first, then works the multi-tap, dual tape, granular and multi-head panels, adjusting tap counts and grain scatter as she goes. She closes on drums with the Red Means Recording presets and a generative multi-track patch.
Worth knowing
Modulation assignment is a hold-and-tap gesture that takes a couple of attempts to land. It tips into unstable, smeared territory quickly, so a plain timed echo is the least of what it is built for.
