What it does
A player for Neural Amp Modeler captures and impulse responses, with no sounds of its own. Two NAM loaders run single or dual, stacked or in parallel, each with a noise gate, three-band EQ and level. Two IR loaders sit after them with their own pan, low cut, high cut and a link control that ties both sides together.
In the demo
Jade browses Tone3000, filters by amp head and thrash metal, downloads captures and unzips them into a NAM folder on the iPad. She plays an amp head raw, then adds a cabinet IR to show the difference, pans two IRs apart, and re-amps four guitar tracks in one of her own projects.
Worth knowing
Nothing is included, so the tones depend entirely on captures you find and load, and there are no delays or reverbs inside. Artera DSP’s GigFast Light is the same idea with built-in models and presets.
