Flesh Rot

What it does

A high-gain amp sim suite modelled on the This Heavy Earth Fleshrot 200 head, itself based on the Ampeg VH140C, with five pedals modelled on the same company’s stompboxes. Around the amp sit a spectral input gate, a transpose control spanning an octave each way, four cabinets with dual mic placement and custom IR loading, a ten-band EQ, and chorus, tremolo, delay and reverb. Everything except the EQ is MIDI learnable, and pedals can be reordered by dragging.

In the demo

Jade plays a Metheist track and a Nothing Resolves song in Logic with the suite on all the guitars, then walks each section in AUM on a seven-string, dropping the transpose to hear it lower, blending cabinets, and running through the factory presets by genre.

Worth knowing

The amp level climbs fast, so Jade keeps it near 4.5. The delay has no tempo sync. Anyone after cleans or non-metal tones is outside its target.
