What it does
A guitar and bass rig built around Neural Amp Modeler captures and cabinet IRs, running at the interface’s hardware sample rate. Blocks are added to a reorderable chain: captures, IRs, compressors, EQ, wah, chorus, phaser, tremolo, octaver, delays, reverbs, a looper and third-party AUv3s, with a gate on the input, a tuner and a metronome. The Pro unlock adds preset banks, snaps, parallel lanes, MIDI learn, iCloud backup and AUv3 use.
In the demo
Jade sets up a metal patch, imports a folder of captures, auditions Marshall and Bogner tones from the built-in TONE3000 browser, then splits the chain into two lanes. She loads it in AUM and tries the looper.
Worth knowing
The free tier is standalone only; AUv3 needs Pro. TONE3000 browsing works only in the standalone, so downloads happen before hosting it. Jade notes the noise gate switches itself off when loaded as an AUv3.
