MRH810 V2 Lead Series

What it does

A modelled British-style lead guitar amp head with clean and lead channels, the lead side adding extra EQ and a gain control. A rack view behind the head holds a noise gate and a cabinet section where you step through speaker cabinets and microphone placements to change the voicing. Presets cover clean, crunch, rhythm, indie and metal tones.

In the demo

Jade runs a guitar into AUM with a drum track behind it and plays each preset in turn, adjusting output and riding the noise gate threshold as the gain climbs. She finishes by cycling the cabinet and mic options on one tone so the difference between them is audible.

Worth knowing

It sits in classic British high-gain territory, and Jade notes she would not reach for it for extreme death metal or grind. She plays rhythm parts only, so lead tones are not shown.
