What it does
A mid-side processor that treats mid-side encoding as a continuous scale rather than a switch, so channel modes become faders and can be swept or modulated by an LFO. It is designed to run in pairs: one instance set to pre transform ahead of an effect, a second set to post reverse after it, linked by a group number so the encode and decode stay matched.
In the demo
Jade wraps a FabFilter Timeless delay on a piano part in a matched pair, shows the group colours connecting, then stacks a second pair around Quantovox TruePan and locks the LFO to project tempo. She is open that mid-side processing is newer ground for her and points at the developer’s written guide.
Worth knowing
The changes are stereo-field changes, so headphones and a stereo source matter. Owners of TruePan can pick it up cheaper in a bundle.
