Laney IronHeart

What it does

A licensed model of Laney’s Black Country Customs IronHeart tube head, made with Laney. The chain runs a gate and two Laney pedals, Monolith and Steelpark, into an amp carrying separate lead, rhythm and clean voicings, each with its own tone stack and volume, plus a pre-boost, a tone knob, dynamics, reverb and a wattage control that changes the character as it drops. After that sit two cabinets with microphones dragged for distance and angle, slots for custom impulse responses, and an effects rack of EQ, limiter, delay and reverb. A tuner and MIDI learn cover the whole panel.

In the demo

Jade drops it onto one guitar track of an unfinished MEtheist song and leaves her existing tones on the others, so the amp is heard in a mix. She A/Bs the pre-boost, moves mics across both cabs, and runs the factory and artist rhythm presets.

Worth knowing

This is a port of a desktop plugin and the panel is dense on a small screen. A Mac and Windows version is sold separately by Aurora DSP.
