Laboga Mr Hector

What it does

A model of the Laboga Mr Hector boutique amplifier with a full rig around it. Three stomps sit in front: overdrive, tone shaper and United preamp. The amp has clean and lead channels sharing an EQ and master, with bright, mid and input switches shaping how hard it bites. After it come cabinets with a swappable speaker per side, four mic options with position and distance, custom IR loading, limiter, delay and reverb.

In the demo

Jade runs a guitar, bass and drum loop in AUM and dials the amp in while it plays, switching channels, cabs and mics. She runs the presets, then opens Logic sessions from the MEtheist EP she is recording, where Mr Hector sits on several guitar tracks.

Worth knowing

The desktop edition is sold separately from the developer’s site. Jade thinks the iOS version carries an extra cabinet and more presets than the desktop one, though she is not certain.
