What it does

A multi-band distortion for iPhone and iPad, standalone and AUv3. Audio splits into up to eight bands, or runs through them in series, and each band gets one of 38 algorithms, from fuzz, saturation and tube clipping to wavefold, feedback FM, degrade and ring mod. After the bands come a multi-mode filter, a compressor with a sidechain input, a feedback stage, oversampling and presets sorted by multi-band and serial.

In the demo

Jade strips an init patch to one band and steps through the algorithms on drums, then adds bands, drags crossovers with two fingers, sidechains the compressor from the drum channel and turns up feedback. Presets get run on drums, guitar, bass, keys, a live vocal and a plugged-in guitar.

Worth knowing

It is a distortion box rather than an amp sim, and Jade keeps a limiter after every instance. She was unsure whether $3.99 is an intro price.
