What it does

An emulation of the Marshall Valvestate 8100, the 90s head heard on records by Death, Prong and Static-X. The chain starts with input volume, a noise gate, a compressor, an overdrive and a chorus, runs into an amp panel with normal and boost channels, bass, middle, treble, contour and two switchable overdrive stages, then out through a five band EQ, a second chorus and an IR loader carrying its own cabinets alongside any you import.

In the demo

Jade plays guitar into it live through AUM, runs the preset list from the clean and crunch patches through to the metal ones, and swaps in cabinet IRs from her own collection to hear how far the cab moves the tone. She then tracks rhythm and black metal parts with it into Logic on a song she is writing.

Worth knowing

The free download runs in demo mode and drops silent for a few seconds every minute until the activation is bought. The pedal switches have no MIDI assignment, which Jade and the developer discuss during the show.
