What it does

A MIDI effect that lays out the usable chords of a chosen key as pads, with voicings, inversions, octave shifts and per-chord editing, then sends the notes on to whatever instrument you point it at. It makes no sound itself. An arpeggiator runs across four pages, humanization loosens chord timing at three strengths, and key switches on a controller change pages or stop playback.

In the demo

Jade runs it in AUM into Piano Tech, works through the lessons and the keyboard trainer, then builds an arpeggio across all four pages and copies it between them. She finishes in Logic as a MIDI effect, recording Inky’s output onto a second track so the plugin can be deleted.

Worth knowing

iPad and Mac only, no iPhone, and it needs a host plus an instrument to make any sound. Velocity from a controller overrides the pads unless the fixed velocity setting is on.
