What it does
An AUv3 MIDI processor that builds chord progressions from a palette of emoji, so chords are chosen by feel rather than name. A harmony engine refreshes the palette after each pick to suggest what fits next, and switches off to keep the full set on screen. Chords drop into a sequencer where each step carries duration, repeats, octaves, inversion, gate, velocity, strum and lo-fi humanize, plus a bass note on its own MIDI channel.
In the demo
Jade drives Pianoteq and a Pure Synth upright bass from it in AUM, filling the sequencer then moving, copying and muting steps while it plays. She works through the style list, feeds it from Brain Bud, plays along from a keyboard and chains two patterns.
Worth knowing
It makes no sound of its own, so it needs an instrument after it. Jade saves a preset twice and cannot find either in the preset list afterwards.
