What it does
A single high-gain guitar tone based on a 5153-style head with an overdrive boost already in front of it, so there is no amp list to pick from. Controls are deliberately few: air, high, mid and low, a load knob, a rude or nasty voicing switch, and a built-in impulse response that can be bypassed or replaced from an IR loader.
In the demo
Jade builds a grindcore track around it, using Goblyn on the hard-panned left and right guitars while another Aurora DSP app carries the centre tone. She A/Bs the IR on and off and compares the two voicings on a clean seven-string part.
Worth knowing
This is one voicing, aimed squarely at metal, and Jade layers it rather than using it as a lone guitar tone. A desktop version is available separately from Aurora DSP.
