What it does
An audio processor that listens to the input and cuts it into collections of fragments, then replays those collections with varying degrees of failure. Mirage sets the balance between source and processed channels, though neither is a clean dry signal. Stuck, Disorder and Repeat set probabilities for holding a collection, blending in past ones and looping, while Rate shifts pitch and speed and Absence gates the result.
In the demo
Jade works it on a piano part in AUM, turning the help overlay on so each knob explains itself, then dropping the collection length to four fragments to hear the mechanism. She moves it onto pop drums and a synth, building a patch as she goes.
Worth knowing
Almost every control is a probability, so the same settings rarely produce the same result twice, and there is no in-app preset saving beyond copy and paste. K-Devices sells a desktop version through their own site.
