What it does

A sample and MIDI file browser for iPhone and iPad, standalone and as an AUv3 loaded like an effect. You bookmark folders from local storage, cloud drives or external devices as collections, then search, sort and audition one-shots, loops and MIDI files with a waveform view and root key detection, and drag them into a host. Files are linked, not copied.

In the demo

Jade adds GhostHack, Mobile Music Pro and MIDI pack folders, searches every collection for snares, then drags loops into GarageBand, builds a Drum Machine Designer kit in Logic from one-shots, drops MIDI beats onto instrument tracks and pulls samples into Outgrowth and Fluss in AUM.

Worth knowing

AudioShare folders cannot be opened directly; each has to be exported to Cache from AudioShare’s share sheet once. Cloud files download on first play. It is a browser only, with no slicing or editing of its own.
