What it does

A pedalboard you wire yourself. Blocks are pulled from four groups, drive, tone, utility and other, then joined with cables between an input and an output, so a chain can be reordered, split into parallel paths and merged again. The drive group holds circuit emulations of familiar overdrive, fuzz and distortion pedals, while the rest adds EQ, cabinet impulse responses, chorus, compressor, delay, envelope filter, gate, spring reverb, tremolo and metering. Blocks can be swapped in place from their own gear icon.

In the demo

Jade builds chains from nothing in both AUM and GarageBand, runs the pedal and artist preset banks on a blues lead, then plays live guitar through it. She finishes by putting a separate IR loader after the app and swapping cabinet impulses to move the same chain from a Metallica sort of tone toward death metal.

Worth knowing

The bundled amp impulse responses cannot be added to, so a specific cabinet means an IR loader alongside it. Jade reports it is light on processing and runs several instances at once, and it crashed once during the show.
