What it does

A multiband saturation and distortion AUv3. One band covers the whole spectrum until a plus button splits it into more, five in the factory presets Jade opens, each band taking its own processor from a list of tubes, tapes, amps, saturation models, transformers and effects. Every band gets mix, feedback, frequency, dynamics, drive, pan, a four band EQ and level, and all of it can be modulated. Modulation sources are added underneath: a slider, an XY controller, an LFO with an editable multi-point waveform, an envelope generator and a follower, each patched by dragging its dot onto the control it should move.

In the demo

In AUM, Jade starts on guitar with the amp and effect presets, then puts the same distortion on a live vocal. She holds a chord from Wavelet and builds a three band chain from scratch, one processor and one modulator per band, each soloed before the others come back in.

Worth knowing

The modulation displays are small to hit with a finger, and Jade covers a fraction of what the routing allows in an hour. Anyone wanting one knob of warmth will find far more here.
