BLEASS Reverb

What it does

A reverb AUv3 from BLEASS with an input filter and gain, pre-delay, selectable filter type, size, modulation and length, plus a freeze button that holds a tail going for as long as you leave it. An XY panel runs a frequency shifter and a wave shaper over the reverb, and a built-in ducker works like a sidechain, dropping the tail back underneath the dry signal. A recent update brought a preset browser, a randomise dice and another algorithm.

In the demo

Jade runs it in AUM over SampleWiz 2 patches rather than a full mix, freezing a tail and leaving it ringing, then dragging a finger around the XY panel while notes are held. She pulls the ducker threshold down so the reverb only swells between notes, sweeps the input filter, and pushes modulation to full to make the tail wobble.

Worth knowing

The control set is small and quick to learn, and it is aimed at big warped spaces as much as at room simulation. Anyone needing convolution spaces or per-band decay will be looking elsewhere.
