What it does

A sound pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox holding 50 presets built from custom textural recordings and tweaked celeste samples, aimed at ambient, celestial and fantasy-leaning material. Presets layer two or three sample lanes, and a set of them are marked motion, meaning a single held key keeps producing rhythm and change rather than a static tone. Reverses, scraping metallic textures and bell-like tones run through the set. The mod wheel is mapped to a filter, MPE and pitch bend are supported, and SoundBox’s own arpeggiators, vectors and effects sit over the top.

In the demo

Jade opens with three instances layered under a Scaler progression and her own guitar pack, then plays all 50 presets one at a time, soloing lanes to expose what each layer contributes and dropping arpeggiators onto presets to show how far they move.

Worth knowing

SoundBox is free to download but stays locked for importing and pack building until you buy one AudioModern pack. Triple Spiral prices this above the cheaper third-party packs, and the material is slow, atmospheric and textural, so it will not cover anyone who needs rhythmic or conventional instrument sounds.
