Whisper Strings

What it does

A soft string ensemble library for AudioModern’s SoundBox sampler, drawn from Bunker Samples’ Iremia series. Patches cover sustains, harmonics, tremolo, bow pulses, vibrato pulses and random rebows, in P and PPP dynamic layers plus concertino and normal versions. Many presets pair two articulations so the mod wheel or SoundBox’s vector section morphs between them.

In the demo

Jade imports the pack into SoundBox in AUM and plays through the presets, then shows how the MW patches switch articulations from the mod wheel, how to detach that and hand it to a vector for automatic movement, and how hard playing still lands quietly on the PPP layers.

Worth knowing

It runs on the free SoundBox download without needing the unlock, on iPad, Windows, Mac and Linux. The whole set stays gentle and intimate, so anyone after loud, epic trailer strings is looking at a different library.
