Vocal Tune Studio

What it does

Pitch and time editing for a recorded vocal, drawn as notes on a piano roll with the detected pitch behind them. Notes can be dragged freely, chromatically or snapped to the detected key and scale, cut into segments, erased or time stretched. Eight per note parameters cover retune time and amount, vibrato depth, rate and delay, volume and formant correction. It runs as an AUv3 or standalone.

In the demo

Jade sings a scratch take into GarageBand, records it into the plugin, and moves from a light correction to a fully straightened setting. She exports the melody as MIDI onto a synth, chops a long note into segments, and stretches notes into a new rhythm.

Worth knowing

Pitch and time correction expects mono; stereo only works in time correction mode. Stretching is live, so it leans on the CPU. The same engine is an in-app purchase inside Audio Evolution Mobile Studio, locked to that DAW.
