What it does

A hard pitch corrector built for obvious effect rather than invisible tuning. Five blocks cover pitch, synthesis, filter, utility and effects. Pitch snaps to a chosen scale, to locked notes, or to chords played from a MIDI keyboard, with quantize, robotify and formant controls layered on top. The synthesize block feeds the voice into a saw, square, triangle or imported wavetable, blended against the original. A de-esser, gate, smoothing and sharpen sit in the utility section, with widen, wobble and a freeze buffer in the effects.

In the demo

Jade sings live through it, then works on recorded tracks, walking each block and its hidden gear menus. She retunes a friend’s vocal from A major to G minor to show the hard tuning tracking, and ends running presets over the full song.

Worth knowing

This is built for extremes, so anyone wanting transparent correction that hides itself in a mix should look elsewhere. Changing preset resets the key unless the lock button is engaged. A desktop version is sold separately by Baby Audio at a higher price.
