What it does
A spectral processor that resonates incoming audio into harmonic material, up to 256 harmonics per voice with 8-voice polyphony. Internal mode tunes it to a fixed note or frequency with three harmony intervals and unison; MIDI mode plays it from notes or chords. Filters, stretch, density, blur, decay, damping, freeze and kill shape the result over a 3D spectrogram.
In the demo
Jade runs it in AUM on a Pianoteq piano and a Digi Stixx beat, walking each control in internal mode before switching to MIDI and feeding it chords from Chord Bud. The drum section is the payoff, where a plain kick and hat pattern comes out as chords and vocoder-like textures.
Worth knowing
Block size and hop factor trade latency against load when several instances run. It is a sound design tool first; anyone wanting a straightforward pitch shifter or harmonizer will find this a different kind of thing.
