What it does
Real-time pitch correction for a monophonic source. You set a key and a scale. Retune time sets how fast a sung note is pulled into place, from zero for a hard snap to 250 ms for a slide; retune amount sets how much is applied. A vibrato section of depth, rate, pre-delay and rate delay puts back the vibrato heavy correction strips out.
In the demo
Jade runs a friend’s clean vocal through a deliberately wrong scale to show how far it goes, then pulls it back to a correction that sits under the performance. She sings through it live in AUM to show the latency, and tries it on guitar and piano.
Worth knowing
It does one job in one panel and expects mono, so stereo comes out mangled. Vocal Tune Studio is the separate app for offline note editing. The demo covers a free download with a paid unlock; it is sold outright.
