Undulator

What it does

A tremolo with a modulation section layered over it, so alongside plain amplitude pulsing there is filter and pitch movement riding the same rate. That extra layer is the pattern across the Eventide iOS range: the app is named for one effect and carries a second underneath.

In the demo

Jade runs a single project containing a piano part, a Playbeat 4 drum pattern and a live vocal, and passes every Eventide app over all three. Undulator closes both the piano pass and the video.

Worth knowing

It gets under a minute here, so the controls are heard rather than explained. Jade has a separate full demo on the channel for the detail.
