What it does
An effect rack of 28 modules in a chain that can be reordered by dragging. Any parameter can be wired to a macro dial or to a modulation source: step sequencer, LFO, envelope follower, side chain input or hold gate, so one move sweeps a whole chain. Version 2 adds a looper, reverser, warp, retro reverb, mod filter, compressor, speaker sim, chorus and EQ, and carries over the first version’s presets, more than 800 in all.
In the demo
Jade runs it on piano, drums, bass, guitar and an arpeggio from one project, rebuilding the same phrase through different modules. She wires the LFO to delay length, feedback and mix, sets up a side chain from a drum bus, and searches the preset packs.
Worth knowing
It is a desktop port, so the text and control targets are small on a phone and a mouse or trackpad helps. Anyone wanting a single tidy effect will find far more here than that. The original Transit is still sold as its own app and has its own demo in the directory.
