Transfigured Orchestra V3: Cinema Brass

What it does

A brass pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox sampler, the third volume in Sonora Cinematic’s Transfigured Orchestra series. It covers flugelhorn, French horn, trumpet section and trombone section across 25 presets including five vintage sampler patches, aimed at cinematic scoring and dark ambient. It ships as a 265 MB wave pack plus a 142 MB FLAC version for iPad storage.

In the demo

Jade opens with an AUM project running four SoundBox instances drawn from all three Transfigured Orchestra packs, then imports the pack through User Sounds and plays every preset from an Arturia KeyStep. Mod wheel, aftertouch and vector morphing patches all get a pass.

Worth knowing

SoundBox is free on the App Store and on desktop for Windows, macOS and Linux, and this pack loads without an in-app purchase. The presets lean toward evolving, ominous textures rather than articulated section writing, so anyone after tight staccato brass will want to listen closely first.
