Timeless & Untamed for DRC

What it does

A preset expansion for DRC, Imaginando’s virtual analog polyphonic synth, bought as an in-app purchase from the store inside the app. The pack is built on a split personality: clean, polished sounds on one side and harsher, noisier, more experimental ones on the other. Leads, basses, plucks, pads, risers, tuned drums and noise effects all appear, and every patch is an ordinary DRC program, so the arpeggiator, the mono, unison and poly setting, portamento and the built-in reverb all stay editable.

In the demo

Jade buys the pack from the store panel, then plays the presets one at a time from a keyboard. She keeps flipping arpeggiated patches to poly and back, saves an edited version into her local bank, and warns about the ones set to hold that keep sounding after a key is touched.

Worth knowing

It needs DRC itself, which is a separate purchase. DRC uses no samples, so the pack downloads small and anything in it can be rebuilt by hand from the same oscillators.
