Meditative Summer

What it does

A sound pack for AudioModern’s SoundBox sampler, built by Genealogy Audio (Andrew of Cinematic Alpha). It holds 71 presets from 26 sound sources, grouped as fast pads, slow pads, trance arps, trance bass arps, magic plucks, reverse pads and drum scenes, aimed at ambient, cinematic and melodic trance work. Delivered as 1.6 GB WAV or an 861 MB FLAC version.

In the demo

Jade opens with five instances layered in AUM, then imports the pack into SoundBox on iPad and plays through each category from a keyboard. The mod wheel opens the filter on the arps, and she works out on camera that the reverse pads only sound when the host transport is playing.

Worth knowing

SoundBox itself is a free download on iPad and desktop; buying any pack unlocks its full feature set. The plucks are mono, and anyone wanting bright or percussive lead sounds is outside what this pack covers.
