What it does
A free subtractive synth and sampler built on AudioKit. Three oscillator layers feed an ADSR, low-pass filter, LFO, unison, glide and a rack of effects, plus an arpeggiator. The sampler records or imports audio into 16 slots, maps them across the keyboard with loop points and root notes, and imports SF2 and SFZ SoundFonts. It installs as four AUv3s: instrument, sampler, effects chain and MIDI processor.
In the demo
Jade builds a sound from an init patch in the standalone, walks the effects one at a time, then trims and maps two samples into a saved instrument. She imports a choir SFZ and several game SoundFonts, then in AUM records her guitar through the Mighty Sampler effect and plays it back.
Worth knowing
The starter bank is free and the sound packs are $4.99 each. SFZ files must be zipped to import, and recording in the standalone needs an input set up first.
