What it does

A physics sandbox that makes sound. You draw walls, drop circles, squares, triangles and bars into the scene, and every collision fires a note, with the horizontal position along a wall acting like a keyboard. Shapes carry their own sound kits, can be tied together with ropes, made static so others bounce off them, or thrown so gravity carries them. It runs standalone and as an AUv3, in instrument or MIDI form, with a mixer and effects that are themselves physical objects.

In the demo

Jade works through the tutorial, opens factory scenes, then builds one from scratch: containing walls, ropes, changing shapes mid-play, and recording a drag as motion. She loads the MIDI version in AUM to drive Pianoteq.

Worth knowing

MIDI recording into Logic Pro did not work during the demo. It is a hands-on, screen-first app, so anyone who works mainly from a keyboard and a piano roll will find little to connect to.
