Subfurno

What it does

A pack for SoundBox, AudioModern’s free sampler, and part of Kompose Audio’s Fusion Collection. Three presets: a lead from two rhythmic layers, a pad of four layers where the fourth supplies the pulse, and a pad set up for SoundBox’s vector engine. The material is sub heavy and dark. Jade’s video calls it Subferno, while the store lists it as Subfurno.

In the demo

Jade imports the pack through User Sounds and plays it from an Arturia keyboard, muting layers to show which one carries the rhythm and which the synth bed. She swaps a layer for a viola and then a vocal from other packs, and turns the vector on for more movement.

Worth knowing

Three presets is the whole pack, so it is built to be mixed with other SoundBox content rather than used alone. The download holds a 616 MB wave version and a 256 MB FLAC version for older iPads.
