What it does

A rotary speaker simulator with up to three spinning plates, each carrying up to three horns with its own rate (free or tempo-synced), direction, Doppler, directivity, tone, phase, ramp times and wobble. Each plate can be limited to a frequency band, and a mix page sets speaker angle, spread, mic positions, room ambience and dry/wet. MIDI notes give the horns a push.

In the demo

Jade starts on the Cantoria organ with reverb off, builds plate one control by control, then layers plates two and three across different bands. She runs it on pads from July and SoundBox, on vocals and drums, and shows the keyboard flick and the direction ramp.

Worth knowing

Adding the effect drops level, so she compensates with input gain, and she found a bug where the plates stop spinning after leaving AUM and coming back. Anyone wanting a single-knob Leslie will find more controls than they need.
