Sistematic

What it does

An expansion pack for Loopmix, AudioModern’s loop remixer, holding 26 loop sets that lean on ambient atmospheres, glitch detail and minimalist grooves. Each set loads into Loopmix’s slots and then goes through the host’s own engine, so permutation, reverse, density, volume and pitch can be randomised across the whole set or one track at a time, with locks holding anything that should stay put. It arrives as a pack file from the AudioModern site and is brought in with Import Pack.

In the demo

Jade unzips the download, imports it in standalone, then reopens Loopmix as an AUv3 in AUM and plays every set in the pack end to end. Along the way she randomises pitch and density separately, solos and reverses single tracks, and locks one sound so the big randomise button skips it.

Worth knowing

Loopmix is a separate purchase, and this pack is sold on AudioModern’s site rather than as an in-app purchase. Several other Loopmix expansions are free, which is a cheaper way to hear how the format behaves first.
