SideBand Remix

What it does

An AUv3 that splits a finished stereo track into its phantom centre and the side content that gives it width, then lets the two be rebalanced. Two crossovers set where the lows and highs that feed the sides begin, leaving the mids in the centre. A bias mode moves those bands between centre and side, a lift mode raises them in place, and a harmonic enhancer, shelving filters, a punch control with loudness and presence, and a reset finish the panel.

In the demo

Jade works on already mixed songs, one of hers and then tracks by community members who are in the chat. She pulls a lead vocal out of the centre so only its baked reverb remains, brings ambience forward until it swamps the vocal, tames reverb on a dense mix, and collapses a track to mono.

Worth knowing

It works on material that is already bounced, so it repositions rather than repairs, and anything done here bakes in for good. The changes are subtle enough that she asks viewers to put headphones on.
